The twins were in Tokyo over the weekend. On the left, Ashley is wearing mouse ears. And on the right is Mary-Kate is wearing rabbit ears.
I think Marc and Madonna would have been VERY proud:

Rihanna & Italian Vogue - The Pictures!
So the rest of Rihanna's Italian Vogue photoshoot came out today! I was going to pick and choose which pictures I would post but every single one of them is damn amazing. So here we go, Rihanna in Italian Vogue's couture supplement:
You guys know I post a lot about models and I believe I know what I'm talking about when it comes to modeling...so let me just say she really does look like a professional. She's a natural. Also anyone notice her infamous pasties??

Chanel, Arlenis, Jourdan, Sessilee...OH MY! Now With Video!
So I posted the cover of the September issue of i-D magazine a couple of days of ago. But now I have video of the cover shoot. I don't think you realize how happy I was when I saw this video. These girls are amazing.

The Olsen's Succeed
Many Have Tried, None Have Succeeded
I feel sorry for the other young, hip, "fashionable" singers out there. They all can have their good days where their hair looks perfect or their jeans fit nice...but at the end of the day, they still must compete with Rihanna. And the girl can do no wrong. Everyone needs to get on her level. lol:Such a cool look. Love it.

Anna channels Annie
Annie Hall is one of the funniest. movies. ever. Woody Allen's masterpiece starred Diane Keaton, who's movie wardrobe is a direct reason for the popularity of menswear amongst women. Her character, Annie Hall, wore pantsuits, ties, and fedoras but still made it all feminine. Here's Anna Jagodzinska trying to do her best Annie Hall impression in September's French Vogue:
Loves it.
Loves it.

Rodarte Love
So I've decided that until Rodarte's Target Collection debuts on December 20th, I will post pics of outfits from some of their collections from past seasons...randomly. Honestly, the thing I love about Rodarte is the fact that whenever you see a celebrity or socialite wear one of their pieces, you instantly recognize the intricate detailed work of a Rodarte original. I respect that the two designer sisters can go beyond the status-quo and make clothes that the average person may not "get" but they are still able to receive world-wide recognition and respect (both Michelle Obama and Reese Witherspoon have worn Rodarte recently. Also, Rodarte won the 2009 CFDA Womenswear Designer of The Year). So here are four looks that I adore from their 2009 Fall Ready-To-Wear collection:
I honestly would love to see a Rodarte piece upclose but I guess the Target collection will have to do. I doubt that the collection will be mind-blowing but I do think we all will be pleasantly surprised. Here's a sneak peak of the collection (from Paper Magazine). It was described by an editor as "beautiful, ethereal, and lacey":

Song/Video of The Day - Asher Roth ft. Keri Hilson
I'm not a huge fan of Asher Roth. He's adorable but his music seems kinda of childish to me. BUT this song featuring the amazing Keri Hilson (love her style) is great. The song "She Don't Want A Man" is now my new theme song. Here's the video for it (it takes 6 secs to start):
Chanel, Arlenis, Jourdan, Sessilee...OH MY!
Here is the new cover of ID magazine. The four hottest black models right now were shot by Emma Summerton for the September Issue. Love it:
Come on now. Isn't this amazing? I-D is the first fashion magazine to put black models on their September issue. I'm so proud of all four of them. It's obvious they have a very long career ahead of them (hopefully Jourdan's pregnancy doesn't affect this). But yup. I will definitely pick this up.

Anna Wintour does David Letterman
She's extremely charming and funny. Here she is promoting The September Issue movie. Watch.

Jess' Outfit
I want everything she has on (minus the shoes). The leather bomber, the fringe bag, and the floral skirt. *sigh*
A+ Jess, A+....

I <3 Ronson
I actually do love Charlotte Ronson but the title is in reference to the event that was held at Chelsea Piers on Thursday night to celebrate Ronson's continued collaboration with JCPenny. I really liked her first collection so I think I'll love the new one. If she follows the same path as before, then I guess there will be lots of florals and 90s inspired looks. Some celebrities came out to celebrate with the Ronson clan. Here's a look at some their outfits:
Alexa Chung is huge over in England. She's a big TV personality and fashionista. She now hosts a show on MTV called It's On With Alexa Chung (she's actually pretty damn funny. So watch!) But here she is wearing a cute long-sleeved red dress with a black clutch and matching booties. I love that she never fully looks put together. She's one of those women that can wake up and grab whatever dress and accessory are at arms reach and just throw them on and still look good. Even this outfit is fug (click here) but she manages to still look cool and hip.
Charlotte Ronson should have been the first pic I posted since it was her event but watevs. Cute top and she's rocking the fashion trend: leather shorts. But I have to admit, I'm not a fan of her fringed cut-out booties.
The City's Erin Lucas (btw, she quit the show) decided that Madonna needed to be channeled that night. I love it. The cut-off lace top w/ the high waisted skirt is adorable. And she's following the trend of the night: black ankle boots.
Susan Sarandon's daughter Eva Amurri wore this psychedelic dress with those gorgeous neon orange wedges. I like!
Socialite extraordinaire Ms. Genevieve Jones wore high-waisted leather pants with a matching ruffled top. I added a second pic so that we can all envy the Louboutins :(
Hilary Duff's (who's in NY shooting scenes for the new season of Gossip Girl) looked kinda blah. She's an adorable girl but I felt she could have done more than throw on a pair of black tights and t-shirt. But I will say I love all her accessories (esp. that scarf and shoes):
Nina Sky. I'm sorry. I don't know their names but I will say that outfit on the right is gorgeous. I wonder where it's from? (btw, I have no idea if all these guests are wearing the Ronson's JCP line. I would only assume so. I couldn't find ANY info about that.) But yea, great dress and great shoes. Btw, do they still make music?
Crazy Mischa Barton decided to take a shower and attend the event. I loved her rope necklace. And again I'm wondering if Charlotte Ronson makes it! But cute look. And she's right on the fashion trend with her cute floral skirt. The shoes don't go with the outfit but they're hot and I could def see Rih Rih wearing them.
Lastly, we have besties Olivia Thirlby and Zoe Kravitz. Olivia looks nice. No risk were taking but nice look. You probably read my post below about Zoe's hair but let's focus on what she's wearing. I adore it. I'm in love with floral. Btw, here's my favorite floral dress from UO (click here)
So that was the I Heart Ronson clothing event. While writing this post, I finally looked at the collection and I was wrong above. Charlotte moved away from the 90s and is all about the 60s with this collection. Btw, I'm surprised Lilo didn't show up (she's dating Charlotte's twin sister, Samantha). But everyone looked cute so thankfully Lindsay didn't come. She would have definitely been the Hot Mess of The Day winner.

Zoe's Hair
Very brief post. I just want to ask, am I the *only* one happy that Zoe Kravitz' hair is growing back? God Bless that child and her craziness.
Here she is at the I <3 Ronson event (I will be making a separate post about this event, btw)
I will say that she pulled off her crazy crackheaded wild-child look extremely well.

Beyonce Does Daywear??
I'm not going to beat around the bush. You know I dislike Beyonce and her mother (Miss Tina Knowles!). I am utterly shocked that House of Dereon has not filed for bankruptcy yet because I have never (ever ever ever) seen anyone wear their clothing in my life. But despite this, the Knowles keep on trucking along, promoting their hideous line and even branching out into kid's clothing last year. Well now, they've decided to add daywear to their repertoire...and guys, let me tell you it's not too bad. One outfit is actually pretty aesthetically pleasing. Shocked? I know. I was too. Here are three outfits from their soon to be released House of Dereon daywear collection:
(This is probably their only great look..but why orange makeup?)
(It's a pretty dress but the material looks cheap and this outfit is not styled properly. Also, do they not own a steamer?)
