Great video. Alright song. But I must note two things.

1) Did anyone else notice Rihanna's Rodarte inspired tattoo sleeves?

2) And I would KILL for a pink tank and a helmet adorned with Mickey Mouse ears. Love it!

So like every young woman in America, David Beckham also wanted to the Rihanna hairstyle. You guys know I love and adore Rihanna but David Beckham can do no wrong in my eyes. This battle goes to................DAVID BECKHAM. lol

Rihanna Does Paris Fashion

So Paris Fashion Week finished last week and the belle of the ball was undoubtedly, Ms Rihanna.

Last year, Rihanna shined bright with color. Here she was at the Fall 08 Chanel show last year:

But this year, all she saw was black. Which makes sense since Parisians sure do love their black.

I was hoping that she was just cold but no, she actually wore this over-sized jacket in the front-row.

Some may say that she's taking the 40s trend to the extreme here but I think it's cute and I adore the black feathers in her hair.

On trend in those thigh high boots. Loved her version of the flat-top hairstyle.

I despise harem pants but I love Balmain jackets.

So the Queen reigned supreme during Paris Fashion Week. Now that she was photographed everyday, I would like Rihanna to take a nice long break. She's fabulous and should not be photograph so often.

Run This Town Premiere

Run This Town finally premiered today:



I honestly thought they would do much more with the video...but I loved Rihanna's attitude in it. However, everytime Jay-z' face popped up on-screen, all I kept thinking was "so old..." But good job guys. Loved the song and I love that Rihanna was channeling Che Guevara with her black beret.

Anja Rubik's 3rd Vogue Cover

The amazing Anja. You've seen this Polish supermodel everywhere, most notably in this Gucci ad:


This September, Anja scored her 3rd Vogue cover of the year. It's for the German edition:


I like it but I must say my favorite Anja cover has got to be her June 2009 French Vogue cover:


I'm a sucker for a killer cat-eye. It makes me want to try liquid eyeliner again.

Oh, her second Vogue was for the Japanese edition.

P.S. Her and Rihanna are sort of convincing me to join the short-hair movement.

LiLo, move aside. There's A New Leggings Queen In Town

The most famous leggings wearer in Hollywood has got to be Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay is rarely seen without her signature black leggings. She loves spandex so much she decided to create her own leggings line called "6126":But there's a new leggings' Queen in town and she's gunning for Lindsay Lohan's title. She's Amber Rose, Kanye West's ubiquitous girlfriend. This woman is addicted to leggings. We all know that it's popularity has waned over the years but leggings are still a g0-to when you and your closet can't come up with a "real" outfit.

Amber was seen all over Paris Fashion week, roaming NYC, and going to dinner, all in leggings. Sometimes I think she doesn't own any pants or jeans (actually, to be fair, I have seen her in some super short jorts). But let's look at some of her legging "outfits":


This is actully one of my favs of her's. The two-toned leggings are unique and her glasses are hot. I'm definitely not a fan of the half-glove, though.


Out to dinner with Mr. West. I wonder what he thinks about all the old men at dinner starring at his gf's "special areas"?


Nothing bad to say about this outfit. Love it.


Probably one of the worst outfits I've ever seen in my life. And her hair is atrocious. Cute shoes though.


Am I the only one who is extremely uncomfortable with such a sexual person being around kids?

Anyways. As you may or may not know, Amber and Rihanna share the same stylist so hopefully Amber moves away from the leggings and tries something more...avant garde. Sadly, this whole summer went by with Amber in only one fierce dress. She also did rock the beautiful Alexander Wang "IT" dress this spring. But this summer could have been the "Summer of Amber Rose" if she opt for a more diverse wadrobe. Oh well. I'm excited to see what she does this fall.

Run This Town Preview

The Rihanna, Kanye West and Jay-z "Run This Town" music video was recently shot and some sneakpeak pictures came out today. And I can't wait for it to be released. It looks extremely cool:

The Summer of the Romper

Rihanna was spotted yesterday wearing the 2009 summer-staple: the Romper.


Seeing this picture reminded me of a post about Blake Lively that I was suppose to have created a while ago.

Blake Lively has been the poster child for rompers this summer. And she always looks great in them. To me, Blake Lively is not a particularly great dresser. She does not have a stylist, which might explain some of her clothing choices (ie. her inappropriate slutty dress at the Met Ball AND the ill fitting Nina Ricci dress at the 2009 Oscars). BUT she has made some amazing choices this summer and her rompers have shown that she does have a good eye...sometimes.

This is actually a Serena van der Woodson (her character on GG) outfit, not a Blake Lively one. It's from Topshop and is only $90. Sidenote: I adore Topshop. I love it more than Urban Outfitters...which is crazy if you know me.

We only have a month left until summer is over, so we have a short time to wear rompers in all their glory. But I guess when Fall gets here, you can just thrown on some tights, boots, and a light jacket and you're good to go.
