You Fail

I'm not going to discuss the Taylor Swift incident because that was absurd and classless. But I will say that Amber Rose' outfit was so trashy and stripper-like. I felt *SO* offended when she turned around. Also, Kanye...Hennessey on the red carpet??? Honestly, your mother would not have been proud. Everytime I look at this picture, all I hear in my mind is Hot. Ghetto. Mess.

Run This Town Premiere

Run This Town finally premiered today:



I honestly thought they would do much more with the video...but I loved Rihanna's attitude in it. However, everytime Jay-z' face popped up on-screen, all I kept thinking was "so old..." But good job guys. Loved the song and I love that Rihanna was channeling Che Guevara with her black beret.

LiLo, move aside. There's A New Leggings Queen In Town

The most famous leggings wearer in Hollywood has got to be Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay is rarely seen without her signature black leggings. She loves spandex so much she decided to create her own leggings line called "6126":But there's a new leggings' Queen in town and she's gunning for Lindsay Lohan's title. She's Amber Rose, Kanye West's ubiquitous girlfriend. This woman is addicted to leggings. We all know that it's popularity has waned over the years but leggings are still a g0-to when you and your closet can't come up with a "real" outfit.

Amber was seen all over Paris Fashion week, roaming NYC, and going to dinner, all in leggings. Sometimes I think she doesn't own any pants or jeans (actually, to be fair, I have seen her in some super short jorts). But let's look at some of her legging "outfits":


This is actully one of my favs of her's. The two-toned leggings are unique and her glasses are hot. I'm definitely not a fan of the half-glove, though.


Out to dinner with Mr. West. I wonder what he thinks about all the old men at dinner starring at his gf's "special areas"?


Nothing bad to say about this outfit. Love it.


Probably one of the worst outfits I've ever seen in my life. And her hair is atrocious. Cute shoes though.


Am I the only one who is extremely uncomfortable with such a sexual person being around kids?

Anyways. As you may or may not know, Amber and Rihanna share the same stylist so hopefully Amber moves away from the leggings and tries something more...avant garde. Sadly, this whole summer went by with Amber in only one fierce dress. She also did rock the beautiful Alexander Wang "IT" dress this spring. But this summer could have been the "Summer of Amber Rose" if she opt for a more diverse wadrobe. Oh well. I'm excited to see what she does this fall.

Run This Town Preview

The Rihanna, Kanye West and Jay-z "Run This Town" music video was recently shot and some sneakpeak pictures came out today. And I can't wait for it to be released. It looks extremely cool:

Kanye's Internship with Gap Leads to Line with Gap?

We all know that Kanye West loves fashion. The stylish rapper has already collaborated with Nike and LV to create his own line of sneakers. And of course, his self-anointed nickname IS "The Louis Vuitton Don". So now rumors are swirling around that he will be turning his summer long Gap internship into an actual line at Gap. He's been working with Patrick Robinson (the creative director of Gap) at the Manhattan headquarters for a month now, hopefully learning the ins and outs of a global fashion company. I honestly doubt he's been delegated the typical intern duties such as: fetching coffee, photocopying, creating excel sheets, etc....we all know the deal, just look at Sean Avery's internship at Vogue.

I understand that Kanye West and Patrick Robinson are good friends and The Gap is probably offering Kanye a large sum of money BUT am I the only one sees this pairing as strange? Kanye is known for his flamboyant colorful outfits....while the financially troubled clothing company is mainly known for their staples (ie. white tee shirts, khaki pants, and simple bags). If Kanye wants a worldwide clothing brand to pair up with, I think the better choice would have been Uniqlo (also known for their staples but still considered innovative)....the hipsters would have gone gag over that line.
